    • You are seen as an individual who embodies the same characteristics as the brand.
      • Quality/growth mindset
      • Environmentally friendly
      • Outdoorsy
  • Performance/durability:
    • The clothing was/is designed for active outdoorsy individuals who need to be comfortable and safe in uncomfortable and demanding situations.
      • Keeps you warm when it's cold, dry when it's wet, cool when it's hot, etc.
  • Value:
    • Items are made from high-quality materials to last longer and be more durable so you do not have to replace as often.
How does Patagonia benefit the world?
  • Higher quality materials last longer and therefore do not have to be replaced as often. They stay out of landfills.
  • Advocating and acting on environmentally significant causes to protect and preserve nature: 
    • Land conservation
    • Responsible fishing
    • Dam removal
  • Their environmentally friendly and proven successful business model is inspiring other companies to do their part to protect nature and to be more mindful of decisions.
    • Large corporations have changed packaging and products to be conscious of waste, which ultimately helps reduce operating, shipping, and production costs.
